A few years ago, we invited former players and members to join "THE FRIENDS OF LURGAN CLUB" with a minimum annual subscription of £10. We are grateful to all who responded, particularly those who are now living in other parts of Northern Ireland and in England, especially as many have exceeded the minimum sub. There may be some who will read this note, and wish to renew their link with the club, This can be done by contacting Victor Malcomson or Ivor Mitchell on the addresses shown right.
It has been our pleasure to welcome several of our "FRIENDS" from afar to Pollock Park and we look forward to the opportunity to greet others. However, we would ask you to give us notice if you are coming, so that we can ensure that there are some old pals there to meet you. There are still a few old-timers around, who love to reminisce, although we must admit that their recollections of events do not always correspond. Recently, membership of "THE FRIENDS" has been widened to include any supporters who wish to join, and we offer our thanks to all who have done so. Your support is very much appreciated. |
