Trigger the 90 decibel siren, or be connected directly to your home’s local emergency responders. It all adds up to a smarter and safer home. Love your Canary? We read and appreciate every single review. Want to suggest a feature?Get in touch!Email: : CanaryTwitter: @canaryInstagram: @caughtbycanaryFrom time to time, the Canary auto mode switching feature may briefly access your GPS in order to have high confidence in your location. Battery life is very important to us and we do many things to ensure we use it sparingly. Please be aware that continued use of GPS services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Update: Still using our Canaries with no subscription; your mileage may vary but ours work just fine. I like the way it now puts a little square around where the motion is so I know it’s just the heater moving the curtains, or just the wind blowing the trees outside. When we have renters at our cabin it’s easy to take the indoor camera out while they’re there, put it back in when gone. We have Ring cameras on the outside that are permanently installed, no easy way to disconnect temporarily. Will continue to use our Canaries because for us they do exactly what is needed.
